do you know about rv air conditioners?

  1. How does an RV air conditioner start working?

Generally speaking, RV air conditioners run on 120V power, and usually RVs have air conditioning vents installed on the roof of the vehicle. The location of the air conditioner means good cooling capacity and works well even when driving on the highway. The air conditioner in the RV works like a typical refrigerator, instead of cooling the room, it dissipates the heat and then takes away the heat from the RV and processes it externally, keeping the temperature and environment inside the RV cooler.

  1. How does RV air conditioningworks?

First of all, inside the air conditioning parts, there are eight main parts inside: compressor, condenser, evaporator, electric wire connecting each part, air delivery system, fan that delivers air to the condenser and evaporator, through the compressor will condense the refrigerant vapor and heat it when condensing. It will then move to the condenser, where the heat is carried away by the fan. This will cool the vapor and it will turn into a liquid. The liquid will slide down the capillary tube to the evaporator. The liquid will begin to absorb the heat from the air as it travels along its evaporator fan. This will cause the liquid to expand, and when the liquid has absorbed enough heat from the RV, it will turn into steam again. This superheated vapor will be sucked away by the suction generated by the compressor and the cycle will repeat.
