It wasn’t that long ago People Can Fly pulled back the curtain on the upcoming Outriders: Worldslayer expansion, and it seems the content is going to keep on rolling out. Similar to how Outriders featured a legendary weak ahead of its launch, People Can Fly has launched a new legendary week this week to look at upcoming weapons in the Outriders expansion. The first weapon to be showcased is a legendary assault rifle named Deathscape.

The rifle is also accompanied by a Stigmatized mod, which makes the gun’s shots inflict poison and inflict a mark for five seconds. If an enemy with a mark dies, it explodes and spreads the mark to other enemies in a caustic green mist.

The Deathscape glows green and has a skull at the end of its barrel, pairing well with its Stigmatized mod. This mod inflicts toxic and marks the target for 5 seconds. In Outriders: Worldslayer gameplay, this translates to skulls flying around and hitting targets. To really cap it off, when an enemy dies, a large green skull rises from their corpse.

All in all, these new legendary weapons and unique mods are promising for the game and for People Can Fly. While Outrider’s future obviously remains to be seen, there is plenty of People Can Fly content in the works. There is Project Gemini, Project Dagger, a PCF IP being adapted to VR, and a new game in the self-publishing model in the works, and that’s really just the tip of the iceberg for everything going on at People Can Fly.
