Best NFL Bets Week 13 Browns down Texans

'Tis the season for food, family, fun, and frenzied gift-giving, but Santa can't very well afford presents without a little side hustle! Food and energy prices, a looming rail strike, and ever-rising interest rates have everyone worried about the bottom line. That's why we put extra work into researching our Week 13 NFL best bets, providing you with the moneyline, against-the-spread, over/under, and prop bets we think give you the best chance of making some much-needed moolah.Every Wednesday, we attack the betting offerings on like dogs on a leftover turkey bone. We find the best bets for the upcoming slate of NFL games, typically selecting eight-to-10 wagers that strike us as both interesting and most likely to win you some cash. We analyze the stats, betting trends, and sharp betting reports to offer you the best advice and give you the greatest odds of achieving weekly betting succe s.Last week's Blank Jersey spreadswere as annoying as we worried they might be the Cowboys won, but we needed them to win by 10, not eight. Then the Packers mi sed the Sunday night cover against the Eagles by a half-point. That set the stage for an utterly miserable weekend, made personally worse by RSV taking over my entire household (but I digre s!). We're still way up on the season and will hold our heads high going into what should be a solid weekend of betting.Let's roll into December in style, hopefully with more grace than Sam Darnold rolling into the end zone. Here are our best bets for Week 13 of the NFL season.JUMP TO: | | | All odds are courtesy of .Browns (-8) at TexansOh, the drama. Disgraced star QB Deshaun Watson returns from his 11-game suspension to make his Browns debut against none other than his former squad. You can't make this stuff up (well, yes, you can...but again, I digre s). This seems like the perfect situation for Watson to shake the rust off. Houston has been horrible in just about every sense of the word over the past few weeks. Even rookie Dameon Pierce has caught a case of the suck. The offensive line is banged up and unmotivated, Brandin Cooks is disinterested, and the run defense employs a matador strategy (Nick Chubb, ole!). Watson can throw for 150 yards and a TD and Cleveland B.J. Upton Jersey might still win by 15.NFL WEEK 13 PICKS: | Titans (+4.5) at EaglesBill Bender, my highly respected Sporting News colleague, has the this weekend. Vinnie Iyer, another brilliant SN veteran, has ! I'm all aboard that train, too. Look, I get the A.J. Brown "revenge game" narrative to go along with Philadelphia's general excellence this year, but Tenne see is too good to be getting 4.5 points. Derrick Henry remains the most dominating power runner in football, and Mike Vrabel's guys always are always tough against the run. They should contain Miles Sanders, who has been leaned on by Nick Sirianni and the Eagles a ton lately. Ryan Tannehill has also looked pretty good with stud rookie Treylon Burks back to full health. Philly will probably win, but not by a touchdown.Buccaneers (-3.5) vs. SaintsI know I covering on Sunday and Monday Night Football a few weeks back -- and I was ecstatic to hear via email and DMs that it made a bunch of you money -- but like I said in that article, trends only last for so long! The home-favorite Eagles covered the spread against the Packers last Sunday night, and I expect the Bucs to cover at home against the division-rival Saints this Monday. To paraphrase Rick Pitino's , "Drew Brees and Sean Jim Thome Jersey Payton aren't walkin' through that door!" The problem is, Andy Dalton and Dennis Allen keep walking through it! The Saints have one win over the past month, and that was against the depleted Rams. In the other three lo ses over the past four weeks, New Orleans put up averages of 7.6 points, 12.3 first downs, 183 pa sing yards, and 46.6 rushing yards per game with a combined turnover margin of -5. The Bucs are the only squad under .500 currently leading a division, but they have to start winning easy games if they want to be playing in January. After this week, Tampa draws San Francisco, Cincinnati, and Arizona. The must-win for TB is now, and we're betting on it happening. Maybe add a point for extra insurance, but this feels fine on its own for us.MORE NFL WEEK 13: Vikings (-155) vs. JetsThe NFL circuit is getting Mike White-washed, but a win over the 3-8 Bears in New York Josh Tomlin Jersey is inherently different than a win over the 9-2 Vikings in Minneapolis. Minnesota just flat-out has too many weapons for New York to slow down defensively, never mind keep up with offensively. Even if Sauce Gardner blankets Justin Jefferson (which he won't), tight end T.J. Hockenson or running back Dalvin Cook will go off. The Vikes will get their second hard-fought victory over an AFC East squad in as many weeks.Steelers (-110) at FalconsWe have seen a lot of good things from Steelers rookie QB Kenny Pickett lately, chief among them the continually evolving chemistry he has been building with fellow rookie and highlight-reel wideout George Pickens (the Pickett-to-Pickens connection just had to work, didn't it?). After news of Najee Harris's abdominal injury leaving Pittsburgh's lead back "up in the air" this weekend, most bettors will likely be leaning Atlanta's way, going with the home squad and veteran QB Marcus Mariota. But the Dirty Birds looked like actual bird poop in a 19-13 lo s to the Commanders last week in which Washington logged just 138 pa sing yards. I'm predicting a breakout game for Pickett, who finally throws for two TDs in one game. Atlanta has surrendered the fifth-most air yards in the NFL and let Taylor Heinicke post two TDs on just 14-of-23 pa sing last week.Giants (+110) vs. CommandersCan you believe both these squads would be playoff bound if the regular season ended right now? Washington has won six of its past seven games by stifling opponents defensively and pounding Brian Robinson Jr. and Antonio Gibson offensively. However, Brian Daboll has helped prepare the G-men all damn Hanley Ramirez Jersey season, and he's coming for that Coach of the Year a postseason berth. I like Taylor Heinicke and love that he acknowledges the existence of Terry McLaurin, unlike Carson Wentz but New York is just a better team, especially at home where they're 4-2 on the moneyline. Saquon Barkley, Richie James, and Daniel Jones each find the end zone in a hard-fought divisional win. Jaguars at Lions: OVER 51 (-110)Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars to a magnificent 28-27 comeback win over the Ravens in Week 12, stunning a Baltimore defense that had looked pretty solid since acquiring linebacker Roquan Smith at the trade deadline. The Lions, meanwhile, put up a pretty solid effort against the Bills on Thanksgiving but ultimately fell 28-25. Before that, Detroit had put up 31 points in consecutive wins over the Bears and Giants. The Lions don't have a bad offense...just a really bad defense. In fact, they have the worst statistical de
